Irish Rugby on a High – Vote for Stephanie Roche

It has been a great Autumn for Irish rugby – with great success for all the provinces and the International squad. Big players perform best when it matters most but apart from ability the other common factor is impeccable preparation and planning. The Guinness Pro 12  has been more competitive than many had expected and perhaps less predictable than most would have thought. The four provinces are neatly grouped, but few would have foreseen the current order, at the start of the season. Nevertheless it’s all four in the top six, with Performance Analysis solutions supported by Avenir Sports.

Stephanie Roche

Stephanie Roche is in exalted company and in contention with Robin van Persie and James Rodriguez to become the first female winner of FIFA’s Goal of the Year after the final three for the award was announced this week. Her goal was one of  ten originally nominated for the Puskás award.

The winner will be announced in Zurich on 12 January.
